Eight Figures

Chris Campbell

It’s an old pattern in tech.

In brand new industries, investors can make 7 figures by investing in the infrastructure.

BUT

The “Eight Figures Club” is usually reserved for those who invest in the applications and use-cases that emerge once that infrastructure is in place.

In other words…

There’s far more wealth created in the adoption phase than there is in the infrastructure phase.

For reasons I’ll reveal in a moment, this should make you VERY excited.

First, consider the trend.

With personal computers, though Intel and Microsoft made billions from providing the foundation…

Even greater wealth was created by software companies and businesses that used PCs to transform their operations.

During the Internet boom, while Cisco and other infrastructure providers did well…

The greatest fortunes came from companies like Amazon, Google and Facebook that built applications on top of that infrastructure.

You’re probably thinking I’m about to say crypto.

While also true…

I’m not talking about crypto.

I’m talking about another industry that’s about to take off.

More tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving!

No one got rich on Napster—but plenty got rich because of it. The same pattern is playing out in AI.

Greenland stands out because it lives permanently at that edge. But the edge is expanding. We’re all Greenland now.
