Thrive Long and Prosper

Forget about ChatGPT writing your emails or AI making pretty pictures.

Let’s talk about something that's going to change your life -- literally.

The most important use of AI isn't in tech or finance. It's not about replacing jobs or creating virtual worlds.

It's about keeping you alive.

Longer. Stronger. Feeling better than ever.

I'm talking about AI that's going to add years to your life.

Decades, potentially.

And this isn't some sci-fi pipe dream. This is happening right now, today, as we speak.

That's why I sat down with Hamed Shahbazi.

Hamed is best known for founding TIO Networks, a fintech company that provided bill payment solutions, which was acquired by PayPal in 2017.

He is also the CEO of WELL Health Technologies, a company focused on digital healthcare services using AI.

His company is on the cutting edge of the most important revolution in human history. They’re using AI to rewrite the rules of healthcare and longevity.

And what he said is going to change the way you think about the future of healthcare.

This is Happening Now

If you want to see how quickly things have changed, consider this:

Before the pandemic, doctors were generally against AI in healthcare.

This has shifted in a big way.

Now they see the light.

As AI systems improved and were implemented, doctors began to understand that AI wasn't going to replace them, but rather support them.

For example, one AI tool developed by Healwell is giving doctors back about 20% of their day.

This addresses doctor burnout and improves interactions with patients.

Win-win.

Thing is, healthcare data makes up about 30% of the world's data and is growing at 36% per year.

Healwell has taken 18 million patient records and fed them into an AI system.

We're talking about every detail of a patient's medical history - from the initial phone call describing symptoms, through various tests and visits, to the final diagnosis and treatment plan.

Now, when a new patient comes in, this AI system starts working immediately.

From the moment the patient describes their symptoms, the AI is already analyzing the data, comparing it to millions of other cases, and generating potential diagnoses and treatment plans.

It's like having a super-intelligent medical assistant working alongside the doctor.

But it gets better than that.

Hamed believes that in the future, AI will be able to provide very precise, personalized health recommendations (e.g., "walk 10,000 steps, consume this much olive oil").

The integration of genomics, metabolomics, and microbiome data will only accelerate this trend.

In fact…

Hamed predicts that eventually, not using AI in medical practice could be seen as a form of malpractice, though this might be decades away.

Right now, we’re at the beginning of a very exciting shift in healthcare.

AI is at the center of it.

And my conversation with Hamed was like looking into the future.
